2025 Aug Was a great game until the most recent update. previously daily challenges vs the computer were a range of games from easy to hard or medium to hard. Also, when you won cards, you got to select the prize. Now there is no progressive play on the daily challenge (only one game of one strength level) and the cards are applied to a specific prize (not necessarily one you want). Dropping rating from 4 to 1.

Best chess app! I'd like to see more color options in the more normal boards and piece sets like the "Noble" and "Metallic." A voice chat option could be really cool too! Have a button on the game screen that lets your opponent know if you have voice chat open or closed. Those are two things I'd love to see, but this app is awesome. All the character stuff, pets, rewards, and so on make it so much more interesting than just chess. Great timer options and tournaments. All well thought out!

The reason I give it 3 stars is because of the "schools." They are fun and can help beginners understand the game. It's also fun to replay some of the greatest players in the world games, like Bobby Fischer! But on the flip side, some of them on hard, like "Shogun Stronghold," require you to beat AI on Hard with a timer from a specific setup. Since the timer only counts for you, AI literally just blocks until the timer ends. instead of actually playing chess. That gets OLD FAST! Otherwise 5stars
