EASY. Most actions in the app – like contacting your elected officials, emailing CEOs, or Tweeting at celebrities to step up – can be taken with just a few touches in just a few seconds. We’ve done all the work for you so that you don’t have to. Don’t know who your elected officials are? Give the app your location, and it will tell you. Don’t know how to contact them? The app has their phone numbers and Twitter handles. Don’t know what to tell them? We give you personalized, boilerplate messages that you can accept or modify.

Ratings and reviews

Sort of annoying how the app asks me to subscribe after every single action I take. If I could afford a subscription I would. Spamming me with a request to subscribe after every action just makes me that much less likely to want to use the app itself to take action. Hey devs, if I couldn't subscribe the first 500 times you asked I definitely won't be able to the next 500 times. Stop asking.

The app has done a great job of breaking a big, overwhelming, and complex problem into simple, actionable to-do items. Of the similar apps and email lists I've tried and subscribed to, I think Climate Action Now will be one of the best methods for real traction among its users and feel that that could result in actual systemic change. I'll definitely be trying to get others on board and excited to see where it goes!

Since downloading this app I have only been able to complete one action. The app has only told me "Unable to send email. Try again later." every single day, even if I try different ways of starting and/or writing it. I'm on an android. So far, this has been a waste of my time, sadly.

What’s new
