Coat Color is an application for dog lovers where you can predict a puppy’s coat color based on the genes passed by its mother and father. With Coat Color Calculator you can easily predict a possible coat color for any puppy based on the genes that its mother and father passed through. With this easy to use application you can track your dog's genes and predict a possible outcome having just basic data.

This is a really well done app. I only wish they had the option to pick different breeds. It is such a valuable tool I could see this being indespensable for every dog breeder! Please consider adding breed or at least more types of genes selection to better encompass the dog colors/markings possible. I tested this against an actual litter, and it was accurate. I will continue using this and hope for expansion! Just downloaded the new update. Not sure if the KB gene is, but it seems like a redundant brindle gene, though it shows up as black solid. I have a black brindle Frenchie, but she looks like a brindle with more black and her DNA test shows brindle. If anyone could tell me what this gene is it would be helpful.

I like the app but wish you had white, sable and red colors in there. Also, no Brown color. I guess this app was built just for French Bulldogs and is not very suitable for dogs in general. It has to be mentioned in the app name or the options in the app need to be added. The second option would be awesome.

This is a totally awwsome app! The only bug/ issue my has is that it is constantly showing results with merle in it. Even if you do not select the gene. Totally works when you do it that way with the merle mm to state that the dog doesn't carry. Favorite app!!
