About this app

An Android application version for dhammatalks.org. Users can listen to all dhamma talks of Thanissaro Bhikkhu. Below is what user can do with the app:
- Add talk to playlist, so you can organize them by the theme you want
- Listen to all dhamma talks including evening version and morning shorts.
- Open transcribe directly from the app.
- Listent to talk collections on dhammatalks.org.

We don't have any ads in the app, and we don't collect any personal information.

Ratings and reviews

There is no explanation for what this is so i can confirm these are the Thanissaro Bikkhu talks, which is what I had hoped (please add a description). This app needs to be improved. It needs to be usable offline so we should be able to download within the app itself (I know the talks are available online but this is about the app). You should also have a proper inbuilt player that doesn't just have a "play" feature but also stop/rewind/fast forward. These changes will bring ppl in.

Hello, Thank you for making this app, the arrangement of the playlists and the style is excellent. I write to point out that if my phone has dark theme on, then the titles of the playlists are hidden. I hope this feedback helps and take care. Sadhu 🙏

Thank you so much for this wonderful app! Wonder if there's an option to close a talk that's playing instead of just minimizing it/pausing it? And perhaps a different color font so that the title of the talks on the front page remains legible when the device is in dark mode? 😀

What’s new

- Allow users to download the daily talk so that they can listen without the Internet.
- The Daily Talks section now will show downloaded talks if the devices don't connect to the Internet
- Fix crashes when devices have no Internet.
