The Digital Monitoring System (DMS) App, developed for the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) in Bangladesh in collaboration with UNICEF, revolutionizes education monitoring by providing a unified platform for academic and administrative oversight. Covering nearly 20,000 institutions, the app aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 to ensure quality, accountability, and transparency in education. Integrating with the Educational Management Information System (EMIS), the DMS offers dynamic data collection forms, role-based access, offline submissions, and interactive dashboards for monitoring teaching quality, institutional conditions, and office-monitoring-related tasks. With support from UNICEF, the app incorporates advanced features like data visualization tools, a comprehensive data warehouse, and robust analytics, enabling evidence-based decision-making and policy development. This innovative system replaces outdated methods to promote equitable access to quality education nationwide.
