About this app

The EDT UFC app gives you real-time access to your schedule and several university services, such as news, university restaurant menus, your grades if you're a student, your BU reader account, etc.
Schedule data comes from the ADE Campus scheduling software, and grades from the student administration software. These are the same data you get when using the ENT.
News and most services come from the university communications department, and your reader account comes from the shared documentation service.
Your Campus Sports reservations also appear in your schedule.
Schedule notifications are sent by your department's student administration office.
A widget is available for display directly on your home screen.

Once installed on your phone or tablet, you must launch the app to select your student groups and modify any settings.
To manually update the data, simply drag down the displayed list. If the GPS coordinates of the room are entered in ADE, you can click on the class to get a geolocation.

You can add the widget to your home screen either by long-pressing the screen or by going to the apps/widgets menu. You then have the option to automatically synchronize the data with an update frequency adjustable in the settings.
A short press on a line of the widget launches the application with access to the settings.
A short press on the widget header manually synchronizes the data.
The timetable data is prepared server-side to benefit from minimal consumption for limited data plans. A time restriction can also be configured to further limit this consumption (around 2 to 3 MB per month with an update every hour between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.).

App Features:
