About this app

EKA2L1 is a Symbian emulator, available for 64-bit Android with experimental support for 32-bit phones.
The app tries to emulate multiple versions of Symbian. Currently it supports the following: S60v1, S60v3 and S60v5, with the most compatible devices in OS order: N-Gage, 5320 and 5800.

While the compability is still growing, it already runs a large number of software rendered games, with custom key mappings and frame rate adjusting.
See https://eka2l1.github.io for more information.
EKA2L1 is an open source project, you can view source code at: https://github.com/EKA2L1/EKA2L1

I gotta admit that this is not easy to setup especially the Ngage part it gets even worse if you are using a newer Android version. I did manage to figure it out anyway and got the games working and the emulation is good. But I think the person who developed the app should update this and make the interface more friendlier to help people who are less tech savvy. Either than everything I mentioned I think this emulator is the best thing to come to Android.

This older play store version works great on older android versions, but for ~ 10+, install the newer version from github to avoid permissions limitations. With android 7 or higher, you can use the Obtanium app to install and update from github. App has nice customization options like button shape, colors, background images, etc.. Setup requires some technical knowledge. Make sure to visit wiki and join the Discord.

Perfect app if you like Symbian, I use this app to run X-plore, play music, and do many other things my Nokia N73 can't alone do (like the first time signing apps by self-sign on this emulator, given its ability to run unsigned apps!), as I mentioned above, I have a Nokia N73 and I would like it if you make my device supported in this emulator (since I dumped it's ROM + RPKG but they didn't work on the emulator!), great work though!🙂
