Shadow Wartime is a one-of-a-kind, mobile tactical 2.5D online shooter with survival elements and an emphasis on realism. The action of the game unfolds within the abandoned city of Shadov and its environs. In the territory of Shadov there is fighting between several warring factions, which seek to seize as much land as possible to increase the power and influence of their group in the region. Chaos and anarchy in the vicinity of the city has attracted many looters, bandits and thrill seekers. Also the conflict did not ignore the mercenaries, who despite the dangerous status of the territory and the war between the groups rushed into the depths of Shadov for their own profit. You have to be in the role of a mercenary and test yourself in order to get rich and, above all, to survive. In addition, you are faced with the choice of joining one of the territorial factions or try your luck alone. Can a mercenary sacrifice a lot, for the sake of money or does he have an entirely different goal?

Ratings and reviews

Literally my favorite game, because I don't have time for eft. I have never experienced the glitches described by others, but when I accidentally get kicked out of the game when I renter the game I have successfully extracted and keep everything. The game needs scav raids and an online, offline mode, but otherwise it's perfect. edit, a few bugs and no updates in a long while but still solid game. edit 2 UPDATE now we are cooking.

Not fun to play at all. Thiers no scav feature. So, no free loot. 200K starting money is too low 500K is would be a lot better. Looting weapons is difficult when they don't want to be put in my backpack. AI's are too aggressive. You never have time to properly heal or reload. If you don't have a weapon or chest rig. The game won't allow you to be in a Raid. Which halts progression. Removal of that feature would be a great QOL change. At this time I cannot recommend this game due to the issues.

Lots of promise for this game, although some of the criticism is spot on, last I played I only ran into a handful of other people, the bots are insane with how many spawn, and once you run out of money and gear its very hard to get back on your feet. Additionally I wish there was a feature where once or twice you could reset to the beginning loot and gear, that would help out new players who die and lose everything.
