FOROS IQ is a personal information security tool and can be used by the user to encrypt personal information in order to protect it during storage or transmission over open networks in a protected form. It does not require the user to have special knowledge of information security.
Also, FOROS IQ is used to store personal information on a secure FOROS medium.
FOROS IQ is developed on the basis of FOROS 2 CIPF and operates on FOROS R301 USB keys or FOROS smart cards. FOROS IQ contains a secure microcontroller with an integrated coprocessor. FOROS IQ implements at the hardware and software level cryptographic algorithms according to encryption standards GOST 28147-89, GOST R34.12-2015 (Magma), and an electronic signature according to GOST R34.10-2001/2012. The operating system of the microcontroller and the microcontroller itself jointly implement special mechanisms for storing and using cryptographic keys.
