FairNote is a simple and intuitive notepad app, giving you speed and efficiency while writing notes, making to-do lists, or jotting down quick ideas. You can organize notes using labels/tags and different colors, use reminders to keep better track of your tasks, protect sensitive data using industry-standard encryption, and best of all, if your device supports biometric authentication, you can conveniently use that to encrypt and decrypt notes without having to enter your encryption password every time.

Please remember your encryption password, even if you use biometric authentication. Forgetting it may result in losing access to your encrypted notes.

Very good app take time to learn. Secure Storage of encrypted notes. With the label feature you can create different categories of notes. What would make this a five star app is the ability encrypt/decrypt multiple files at the same time. The pro version of let you encrypt/decrypt all notes. When reading an decrypting a note it will encrypt immediately if you switch screen, if access multiple times need to enter the password over. Needs option keep decrypted in read-only mode.

Pretty basic, but reliable, and supports encryption. The basic is a nice feature in our age of data harvesting. Re: other reviews that mention note reencrypts as soon as you put another app in the foreground - at least on my version of android, you can still see the encrypted note's content in the app preview, allowing you to avoid having to decrypt multiple times in cases where you need to refer back to the encrypted note while using another app.

This is perfect!! I downloaded every single simple notepad/memo app available that didn't include ads and out of all 9, this is the app that has everything I need without any unnecessary extras. It's very similar to the original Android "memo" app on Samsung phones, but better. 2 bugs/suggestions: first, with time selection it'd be nice of you could type in the hour/minutes because it's hard to select a precise time. 2nd, if you pin a note to status bar and bulk delete notes, it stays pinned.
