Racing (or rather swimming) down a mountain, you've got to make sure to always get enough of the chips, before the water runs out. To get a little more time, with the powerful slap of your fin you can make clouds rain down for you and make water levels rise for a bit.
All chips collected also count towards your total, which you can use to by some fashionable hats in the drip shop.
