Integrated in a policy of rapprochement to the citizens, the Municipality of Cascais has been promoting participatory citizenship.

The FixCascais integrates this responsible citizenship policy, in which every citizen, resident or visitor is invited to help the Board to enhance its territory, reporting different types of situations in public spaces such as damaged pavement, misplaced traffic signs or damaged, street cleaning needs, etc.

Participation is simple situations. First categorization of the situation is needed, choosing from the available categories. They can also be added to facilitate the identification elements of the situation.

Then, only the location of the situation is required to report, through an affordable system that allows search of an address on the map, or simply through the tool "near me" in the system marks the location of the user at the time of participation. You can also attach one or more images.

Holdings are automatically sent to the appropriate areas of the City Council through an innovative application integration with document management systems of the local authority.

The different interests and its detail (always ensuring the anonymity of users), as well as their status, are available for consultation. Thus, before submitting an entry you have the possibility to check if it has already been identified.
