We present you an offline dictionary to search for meaning of words without having to change the focus from current app. It can be used while reading e-book, surfing on the internet or even while playing games. It has a full fledged English to English offline dictionary as well as a floating window which can be used over any app(s) of your choice.

For years, (…at least 8yrs…), I've searched for a good “floating” dictionary/spell checker for Android. Finding the Floating Dictionary™ is truely an “eurika moment”! It's well integrated into the Android platform, actually finds the words you search for, is uncrippled & incl bookmarks! Bookmarks ARE important! They allow one to track words for study w/o needing to maintain a separate list. If you need an always available dictionary that actually FINDS words, THIS is THE ONE for you!

This was just the app i was looking for. I love it. I can finally read books without switching apps every time i need to know the meaning of a word. The only downside is that you have to open and keep the app in recent apps for the icon to appear on whatever app you want to use it in. If there is any way so that this app will automatically open then I would change my rating to 5 stars.

I am happy to come across this kind of dictionary. I have been dreaming of it. Before, if I want to look up at a dictionary when working on some applications. I have to close the app in order to check meanings of words. Floating Dictionary has putting an end to that stress. The Foating Dictionary is very rich. I greet the developer well done.
