About this app

The GL-SMART application developed for Android allows connection with the GL-SMART series paint meter from Prodig Tech. Depending on the meter model, we get a number of new functions that are not available for standard meters. The application is currently running on Android 6 or higher.

General capabilities of the application:

Basic measurement:
- Search and connection with the GL-SMART series paint meter by Prodig Tech;
- Displaying information about the varnish thickness of the measured steel and aluminum surface;
- Displaying average, maximum and minimum values ​​for the current measurement session;
- Extended view adds the ability to track measurements in the table and on the chart;
- Record of current measurements;

Professional measurement:
- Search and connection with the GL-SMART series paint meter by Prodig Tech;
- Possibility to select a given body element or vehicle frame;
- Displaying information about the varnish thickness of the measured steel and aluminum surface;
- Possibility to take photos of a given body element or vehicle frame (the maximum number of photos depends on the type of meter), and preview them in real time;
- Record of the current measurements with a division into body parts or vehicle frames, along with their photos;

Calibration of meters:
- Search and connection with the GL-SMART series paint meter by Prodig Tech;
- Instruction to carry out the calibration, depending on the type of paint meter


Measurement list:

(for professional measurement)
- Reading a saved measurement session, including photos of the vehicle;
