files become corrupt after a while. won't play older files. even when the files are transferred to a different place they are corrupted and completely silent. not very useful if you're recording a meeting and you used it to take notes and you need to refer back to it several months later only to find out when you push play you don't hear anything. I have lost some very important information because of this.

Great app! Works as it should and the gesture recording is a super addition. The app is well designed and easy to use. There's one main reason this won't be my main recording app. It doesn't sync to Google drive. I like the assurance that my recordings are backed up if I lose my phone. The other, lesser issue is ads. It's a pet peeve. While the ads are unobtrusive (which I really appreciate!) I'd happily buy a paid version to avoid them altogether. With a couple of tweaks I'd easily give it 5*!

[EDIT:] I wish we could choose where to save our recordings, rather than just in the app's own location. I almost always edit recordings, so this adds extra steps. [RE-EDIT:] Well, that was 2 years ago, so I guess you weren't serious. Also, the editor now freezes under Android 10. Guess I'll look for a recorder that's easier and more reliable.
