About this app

This app helps you to re-scan the gallery and fix the order of photos in the gallery by parsing EXIF data of images or parsing the date time in the file name.

This is because on Android R+, the system denied this application to access the native file API.

Features
- Compare the date time in the gallery with the date time in the EXIF data of the file
- Ability to parse the date time inside the name of files (include the format of images saved from Whatsapp)
- Fast and ability to run in the background. This means once you start to fix, you can hide the application to use other apps.

Permissions
Because this application directly reads file to parse the EXIF data of image, so that it requires to access native file system.
- Android 11 (R) and above: Please grant the permission "All Files Access" (its name can be Manage storages)
- Android 10 and below: The permission to read and write files is required

Privacy
- We don't upload your files to any server, just scan them locally and update to the database of the gallery
- We use Firebase Analytics to improve the application

Finally found an app which not jus change the date but actually rearrange the photos according to date. It also affect the Snapchat camera roll option. I was looking for it for a long time, this way i can use Snapchat as a cloud photo storage with each photo on there respective date.

No option to set File Creation date = File Last Write date, which is all I need. When transferring files between PC and mobile, the process trashes the File Creation date and I need a tool to fix it back so my Recent sorting is correct. Shame this utility suite doesn't include it. Closest it has is a feature to set the File Modified date = EXIF When Photographed date.

Very nice, helped me a lot already, but doesn't work when there are hyphens in the file name. Also needs an option to hide the non conflicted files from the list
