Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) is a state university located in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India. It was established in 2011 by an Act of the State Legislature of Himachal Pradesh with the aim of providing technical education and conducting research in various fields of engineering, technology, management, pharmacy, and computer applications.The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various fields such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Architecture, Management, Pharmacy, and Computer Applications.HPTU is affiliated with various colleges and institutions located in the state of Himachal Pradesh, and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university has a mission to develop skilled human resources in various fields and contribute to the socio-economic development of the state and the nation.
