Hello Tree brings you into contact with your neighbors: the trees on your street.
(In selected cities, based on data from urban tree registers)
Stand next to your tree and tap the "Hello Tree" button!
Then your tree tells you who it is and what it does for you.
The “Hello Tree” project aims to raise awareness of the performance and importance of our city trees. To do this, publicly available data on city trees and soil conditions were compiled and various characteristics of each tree were calculated. You can now access this information via the app while walking through the city.
The app is currently working in many cities in Germany and Austria:
- Berlin
- Dortmund
- Dresden
- Duisburg
- Frankfurt am Main
- Gelsenkirchen
- Göttingen
- Halle (Saale)
-Hamburg
- Cologne
-Leipzig
- Linz
-Magdeburg
