Hanseatic Bank Secure app: Now more security – on the go or at home.
The Hanseatic Bank Secure app offers you the opportunity to use Hanseatic Bank credit cards to make online payments at participating retailers. You can recognize participating retailers by the Visa Secure symbol in the online shop. In order to be able to release orders or online payments with the Secure App, you simply need to link the app once to your mobile device after downloading it.
How to set up the Secure App with the Hanseatic Bank Mobile app:
• If you already use the Hanseatic Bank Mobile app, log in to the mobile app with your access data
• Go to “Security” and “Manage approval procedures” in the menu
• Start the setup and the numerical code for security verification will be automatically transferred to the Secure App
How to set up the Secure App via online banking:
• Start the setup at https://meine.hanseaticbank.de/de/register/sign-in under “Security” and “Manage approval procedures”
• Scan the QR code or use the 6-digit numeric code
• Enable push notifications
After registering, you approve all orders and online payments with your credit card using the app and your password.
When shopping online with Visa Secure, you will receive the name of the relevant online retailer, the amount, the date and the time before completing the transaction. If these details match those of the transaction, approve the payment by confirming it in the app.
The use of Visa Secure is free of charge for you and is solely for your own security on the Internet.
