You need the Helios Safe app so that access to your health data at Helios is not only convenient but also secure.

The Helios Safe app is used only for secure registration in the Helios patient portal. The app turns your smartphone into an individual key so that only you can access your sensitive information.

After the Helios Safe App has been linked once with your user account, the app is required in addition to the normal login for secure registration in the Helios patient portal as soon as you want to access a protected area.

How to link the Helios Safe app:

1. Download the Helios Safe app to your smartphone and install the app.

2. Link the installed Helios Safe app to your existing user account.

3. Authenticate yourself with the Helios Safe app to use the protected areas.

Authentication with the Helios Safe app will only take a few seconds after the one-time link, but significantly increases the level of security. We recommend not to use the Helios Safe app with the device with which you also access the Helios patient portal.
