- maintain up-to-date design and as-built documentation for the maintained engineering systems of the facilities

- see for any piece of equipment - the entire history of movement, service life (operating hours), who installed it, photos
- monitor equipment
- receive alarms if some equipment performance indicators are not within the specified parameters
