Thanks to the official mobile application of the Integrated Transport System in the Bratislava Region (IDS BK), you always have tickets for city and regional transport literally under your thumb. In the IDS BK mobile application, you can buy them easily, quickly, ecologically and with a discount.

Travel with one ticket in the entire Bratislava region. Transfer unlimited between trains, buses and trams.
For example, when traveling from Senec or Pezinok to the center of Bratislava, only one ticket purchased in the IDS BK mobile application is sufficient for the entire trip.
It doesn't matter if you travel by Arriva buses, use ZSSK trains, or take public transport in Bratislava.

What can you do with the application?

Ratings and reviews

The app works ok, and it has an English language option, but I'm rating it 3 stars because #1- All the alerts are in Slovak, not English. #2- There is no option to link a bank account or Google pay, only credit card or Apple pay. #3- Very minor, but it's annoying to have to select your bus/tram stop to buy a ticket. I realize that it is probably to track how many connections you have made or something. Even still, it's a few extra seconds every time you buy a new ticket.

Working with the bank cards is complète disaster. You put card, the app ask for authorization. I give authorization, but session expires. I do it again. Then after authorization request I buy a ticket. From time to time it forget the card. So to have authorization with switched on card remembering is also a tricky thing. And you can't add the card before the ride like in any service. No, you should do it ride before the travel when the bus arrives. Very 'convenient'.

Absolutely useless app, does not allow you to pay by a non-Slovak credit card, I tried about 7 different Visa and Mastercards from abroad, and none was accepted, after entering the card number the screen said the merchant does not accept this card. Absolutely useless for visitors, don't waste your time installing. Also does not allow you to use Google pay, only Apple pay. As I say, it's not worth a second of your time or a bit of your mobile data.
