WIP - ID Scanner for PDF417 Barcodes (US Driver License standard). Provides a quick glance for verification of age and license expiration. Great for anyone who needs to verify identification.

Note: This app does not provide you with details regarding fake identification but it can give you enough information to come to the conclusion yourself.

Laws in many states do not allow data scanned from state issues identification to be stored or used for the purpose of displaying. This app cannot and will not store any collected information, even for analytics purposes. Future enhancements may ask questions regarding the accuracy of the information, and while the responses will be recorded, the identification will not be. Please be mindful of your city and state laws when using this app. If you find it violates local or state laws, please do inform the developer so we can make sure the application is not used where prohibited.

Ratings and reviews

Does what it says, and appears to not store data or send data to the cloud. Fast scans. Free. No ads. It would be nice if the app indicated when the ID is expired (-1 star). There's other apps that do more work to detect fake IDs, but ironically they're not as quick & easy to use. To sum up: I love it! <3 EDIT: feature added! 5 stars!

Works great! is there a way we could also add in a above 18 box as well, i work for a vape company and we are looking for a scanner to use and that would be awesome if that could be implimented. and yes the notification of if it is a fake would be awesome too. Good job Brian and looking forward to updates!

I wish there was a 4.5 star. Apparently it will not pull up a first name on NY licenses. It does for PA. I'll be volunteering at a public event doing age verification at a beer tent. Last year I had to analyze all ID's by hand and it took too long. This year should be much better.

A new update was added to the app today based on your feedback!
- Added guides to the camera view. The text to let you know what to do is weak! Help me make it useful!
- Added a button to activate your camera flash to be a torch. Now you can see in the dark ;)
