The city hall of Itapema - SC invested in the complete digitalization of the GCM, being one of the first municipal guards in Brazil to have an emergency activation tool, fully integrated with the incident dispatch center, considerably reducing the time it takes for the vehicle to reach the victim.

The “Itapema Mulher Protegida” application aims to speed up response time when a woman, victim of aggression, is in danger.

How it works:
When the button is pressed, the dispatch center operator will receive the request for help in a matter of seconds and will have access to all the data of the person requesting the vehicle.
When receiving the request for help, the GCM operator will already have the victim's location using their GPS coordinates and will therefore be able to send the closest available vehicle, which will arrive at the scene of the incident in the shortest possible time.
It is worth remembering that your cell phone must be online during activation.
We also emphasize that GPS accuracy can vary according to the visibility of the sky, therefore, the more open the trigger location, the better the accuracy.
We emphasize that in addition to pressing the emergency button, you must also contact the police by dialing 153 or 190.

How to use:
To activate, follow the steps below:
1 - Open the “Itapema Mulher Protegida” application;
2 - Press the “EMERGENCY” button until the application closes automatically;
3 - Also call 153 or 190.
Please note that there will be no information about the actions carried out within the application.
Tip: When the application is opened, you will automatically be redirected to the “Emergency Button”, but if necessary, click on the “Emergency Button” menu item to be redirected to the activation sector.
