receipt scanning used to be as simple as taking a picture... now I can't ever get it to work without over exposing the image and on the rare occasion it's legible there are so many options it takes too long and it's a waste...

This app is amazing. It is doing very well something that is usually very boring when done manually. I strongly recommend it.

Very poor permission handling. You need to ask for runtime permissions, not just redirect users to the settings. I stopped using the app after seeing how bad the permission handling was. Also, you don't need access to camera if external camera is used. You don't need access to files + media with the new storage changes. You can prompt the user to select a file and read that file without needing storage permissions.
