About this app

JusttheNews.com is committed to just reporting facts from journalists with a long record of public trust and excellence. In an era where opinion and supposition are too often substituted for fact and where journalists rush to get things first and hope their stories are correct, JusttheNews.com tries to stand out by returning to the bedrock promise of getting news first, but first getting it right. We try to deliver exclusive news you can trust.

JusttheNews.com is a back-to-the-future initiative where old-fashioned, honest and exclusive reporting is delivered in a neutral voice, but delivered through the modern channels of YouTube, podcasting, e-books and social media. And in a twist of old and new, JusttheNews.com journalists deliver unprecedented transparency by offering a Dig Deeper tool on their Web site that allows consumers to see the underlying core materials and evidence that substantiate each story. These embeds replace the shaky promise of modern journalists to "just trust us, we're right" with "we trust readers to look at the facts and make up their own minds."

JusttheNews.com is sticking just to the facts, without regard to outcome or personal bias. We will construct original, exclusive content with a neutrality and transparency that lets readers, viewers and listeners make up their own minds.

JusttheNews.com is based in Washington, with an eye toward covering events in the capital for those who live outside it. It consists of four divisions dedicated to Web reporting, video journalism, podcasting and long-form nonfiction book publishing.

Its mission can be succinctly summarized by three brand statements:

Honest Journalism, Trusted Reporters
Information Without Indoctrination
Rising Above Rhetoric

Love the website, app is amateur night! Phone's back button should never cause you to leave app rather than go back one page, like all browsers/apps ever did. Also notifications do not link to the story they reference, just to the main page, & with a slightly older notification, the story has expired on the front page, & difficult to find. I just go to the browser page. Why bother you offering this app, & me using it, with these problems? Written in 2022, in 2024, still the same mess!

Terrific App!!! I love the ability to see the sources that the authors used to write the story. John Solomon is probably the last true journalist left in media. The only criticism I have is when you are notified of a new story and click the link, it just brings you to the app. So many stories are published that you can't find the original story you wanted to read. Update 8/14/24 Still unable to follow the alert straight to the story, frustrating that I can't find breaking news.

Horrible app, the ads are horrendous. The content is fantastic but pop ups come up over the entire screen and the close button is so small you can't shut the ad off to see any of the content. Advice for JTN, if you launch a horrible app like this first you will lose your core users right out of the gate and it's almost impossible to get them back. I would pay to get rid of the ads but that's not even an option. If you are doing this on purpose to cash in quickly then shame on you. Please fix...
