KBOOK goes beyond a simple learning platform. Amateur authors can gain valuable experience by creating content and debuting as webtoon writers. The content created by these authors serves as reading material for learning Korean, fostering growth for all involved.

In 2023, the KBOOK app was selected as one of the top 3 nationwide, receiving government support and contracting 120 authors.

We hope to provide assistance in learning about Korean culture and the Korean language through over 1000 short comic story contents.

Ratings and reviews

The app and books are really nice and I like the design. I wouldn't have a problem with watching ads to read the books if it actually worked, but if I finish watching an ad and move my phone it puts me back to the homescreen and I have to watch another add for the same book. also it keeps closing the app and I get a notification it has a bug... I don't have data speed or connection problems like other ratings though.

I'm not sure why; the first time I opened the app, it was functioning alright—showed me all the readings I can choose. But now it always loading, not to mention my data slowed down when before opening the app it's running quite fastly. I have no WiFi nearby so I can't exactly see if it's my data's fault or the app's.

The only free books they offer require you to watch an ad in order to read them. This is not fair to people who are trying to study Korean for free and marketing these books as being free. Time watching ads will add up and it is more worth it to just look up Korean short stories than to download this app. Don't waste your time.
