About this app

In the city of squares, the "German Leukemia Research Aid - Campaign for Children with Cancer - Local Association Mannheim e.V." has been looking after affected children and their relatives since 1979. The association is the contact point for families from Mannheim and the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region - from the southern Palatinate to southern Hesse.
We also see it as a particularly important task to provide funding for research so that all children have the chance to get well by gaining medical knowledge.

mission

-> We want to improve the treatment of childhood cancer and the psychosocial care of children:
-> We promote basic research
-> We ensure that the children's cancer ward at the Mannheim Clinic is optimally equipped.
-> We support training for doctors and nurses.
-> We advise and help families with children with cancer.
-> We finance 10 long-term projects such as our dream fairy, Rosy's Kids Corner and the clinic clowns.
-> We are reliable contacts for the families concerned, the children's cancer ward 31.4 and for our supporters.
-> We are helping to ensure that the treatment of cancer in children can continue to improve in the future.
-> We are purely funded by donations.

We would be delighted if you would support us now.
