Über diese App

LOC is a platform for investigating alternative models of urban living in Cluj-Napoca. It has three main components - art, education and research and it brings together artists, scientists and NGO actors to explore and debate matters that need to be addressed within the context of the development of one of the biggest cities in Romania.

The main scope of the platform is to provide the space and the tools for the people living in the city of Cluj to question and explore the concept of living within the city from the perspective of global warming, gentrification, access to resources, segregation, urban planning and not least, living with our non-human cohabitors.

The app functions as a gallery of AR projects which can be deployed either on-site, in the city of Cluj, or in any other environment, with a different set of instructions.

The AR experiences are also meant to be available for class study, providing the base for debate on the aforementioned topics.
