Finding Family

The Life360 app uses state-of-the-art GPS location technology to report the real-time whereabouts of family members that have accepted your invitation to join your circle and share their location. Simply install the Life360 Family Locator app on your phone, and invite your family. Once registered, each member appears as a unique icon on the navigational map so you’ll know exactly where they are. No need to send annoying “Where are your?” or “What’s your ETA?” texts, the Life360 Family Locator puts this information at your fingertips. And to make life super easy, we send you alerts the moment your family arrives at an appointed location!

Location - Life360 locates you and your family members on a shared, private map. This setting allows us to show location accurately and quickly.

Phone permission - Life360 has a feature called Driver Care Support that, with a single push of a button, connects you to a live representative over the phone. Our live representative knows who you are and where you are to assist in roadside situations such as tows, jumps, and lockouts. We also offer an immediate emergency response in the case of a vehicular collision. Phone permissions allow us to connect your phone to the live representative and authenticate that you are the one calling them.

Network - This connects you to the Internet and allows us to send and receive location information to and from family members on your private map.

Great app with a ton of great features! We subscribe to the premium version, though I can't remember what it's called. "Gold"? Anyway, one improvement I'd love is if the account owner could set the speed limits. Ours shows us "speeding" a lot, which the app defines as 80+ mph...except our speed limit here in Montana is 80 mph, so it's not very accurate for that. It would be an awesome change! :)

5 Stars all across the board. This app has become essential for me! I'm still using the basic version so I'm not able to access all of the features, my kids are still young but once they are a bit older I plan to upgrade. Just with basic version tho, im able to get location updates at anytime on my hubby and visa versa, also, driving reports, speeding, texting while driving, hard breaking and more. I HIGHLY recommend! 10 outta 10

This app is a very useful aide in helping members of our family, and friends, keep track of one another as we travel. We feel it enhances safety and it encourages study of the places we visit. The app is easy to use. I'm happy to recommend it to anyone. Follow-up to my initial review. All was well until Life360 deleted during a system update. Re loading from the Playstore was easy, but the app would not launch. Contacting CS was frustrating because they use an AI. 240 wait list for a person.
