About this game

Lingo is a fun and addictive word game inspired by the classic TV show. Can you guess the hidden word before you run out of tries?

Game Modes:
- 4x4, 5x5, 6x6: Guess four-, five-, or six-letter words. You have as many attempts as the word length. The fewer tries you need, the more points you score.
- 5 Rounds: Play five fast-paced rounds with limited time per word.
- Time Trial: Race the clock and guess as many words as you can.
- No Time Limit: Relax and play without a timer - perfect for learning new words.

How to Play:
Type in your word guess and check the colors:
- Green: Letter is in the right spot.
- Yellow: Letter is in the word but in the wrong spot.
- Blue: Letter isn’t in the word.

Earn points based on how quickly you solve each puzzle.

Every 5 correct words in 4x4, 5x5, or 6x6 modes gives you an extra life.

Use hints anytime you get stuck.

Ratings and reviews

Out of all of the Lingo Android apps, I prefer this one. It may not have the collection mechanic of that other one, but it lets you sign in with Google, and it lets you pay once to permanently remove ads. However, I can't give it full stars because it has a bug where if you use the pause feature or minimize the game, the timer clock often gets messed up to the point where it runs two clocks, and the one that expires first loses you a life, and the other partially expired timer carries over.

3.5 out of 5. Fun game. Some words are repeated, but not too bad. Ads aren't bad. My biggest issue is that if you pause the game, when you unpause, the game starts bugging out. It will auto give you (answer for you) the word even when you still have 1-2 minutes left to answer and it will repeatedly do this. The worst is during time level because it makes you auto-lose. I have to force close the app and re-open. Otherwise, a fun time waster.

Was really enjoying this, however the board has just started flickering loads when I try to play, which makes my eyes feel funny, and the colours aren't coming out properly anymore. Also a save and come back to option would be great for some of the unlimited number of words games, as I can play those forever as I keep getting additional lives (esp in the 6 letter ones as you can normally get the word in 6 goes with 6 letters tried each time) !!
