It's a great game with potential (that was evident in earlier versions), but the pay-to-win structure takes away from the experience. Sure, the current version has more customizations, but is overridden by the apparent need to pay. You're given 40 diamonds at the start, but they're hardly effective because of the sheer amount of paid choices practically shoved in your face. This wouldn't even be an issue if there were more effective ways to earn gems (i.e. mini-games or watching ads).

I really enjoy this game. I like to replay previous seasons to make different choices, and it's more interesting as they make more, because you can rotate through them doing replays, and things don't seem as repetitive with more time in between. For this reason, I really wish they'd bring back the first 3 seasons. I never got to try out all the choices with those. I would also love if there was some kind of achievement system where you could look back to see who you ended with on each play thru.

I wanted to love this game as much as the first three seasons on the old app, but I just don't. Its like watching a car wreck in slow motion. I can't look away. The characters all feel soulless and flat. Despite the gimmicks each season supplies, nothing surprises me, its all so formulaic. The cheaper paid options are expensive for minimal content you could otherwise pick up from context clues. The more expensive choices are better, they should be for thirty diamonds, but it still falls flat.
