Ratings and reviews

The mic is good, but the app needs to be improved : the videos taken in the app are too jerky (poor quality), we can't save the files to the phone gallery or music easily, we can't move the files to the SD card, sometimes the app cannot download the files of the previous recording session... annoying. I suppose that I'm not the only one to see these real problems.

Has its flaws. Records and syncs then has issues syncing to record again. Have to clear out memory after every recording as it claims there are open sessions still, this is without exiting the app. It is even happening on first start up of the app and mic, it connects but had the orange light and again later claims open sessions, occasionally loosing what I just recorded because it makes me clear open sessions. Kinda frustrating but hopefully the app improves and filmic pro support arrives in the near future. Otherwise records great audio and has a permanent home in my kit. I'm hoping the issues aren't just an android support thing. It was fantastic to have support right from the starting gate. So many 3rd party add ons are leaving android behind. It's nice to have that support as I'm not about to switch anytime in the foreseeable future. Keep up the hard work Sennheiser!

I dont know what is the purpose of this mic. If it is just audio then it is better to have field recorders. If it is video with audio then video part is pathetic in its app. No pro like options are available in video. If this mic is for pro then i am sure that pro will not like video. Also the app does not support multiple microphones. It could be great if it support multiple microphones with control of their levels and sound effects. I hope sennheiser will improve the app for professional use.
