"Makkal Sevai Generic eKYC Mobile App" is an official Government Mobile App developed by the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency (TNeGA), Information Technology and Digial Services Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.


This is the authorized App that facilitates eKYC of Citizens in Tamil Nadu for the Biometric Authentication using any of the modes, including Facial Recognition (using mobile camera), Fingerprint matching (using Fingerprint Scanner) or Iris matching (using Iris Scanner) and is a part of the Makkal Sevai eKYC Platform which integrates with various Government Departmental applications and databases for their eKYC needs. The App works in Self-service mode as well as facilitator enabled mode.
