How does Manorama Weekly Android Subscription feature work?

• If you have an existing digital subscription, you can enter the subscription details to get free access on the Android device
• If you choose to subscribe, simply select the single issue, one year and two yearly option

The paid subscription for the magazine would cost Rs.60 for a month, Rs. 165 for 12 months and Rs. 330 for 24 months.

I am discontinuing my journey with Manorama after being a loyal customer for more than three decades. Even after moving out of Kerala I used to search for these weeklys just so I could stay connected. Till Covid everything was fine and the customer service was excellent. Even though I was not regularly reading I used to automatically renew the subscription without thinking twice. This app is the biggest downgrade for Manorama. Not able to access issues inspite of continuous renewal. Worst app.

Update 31 July 2019: app is not allowing to login, where as able to allow login from portal using browser! the renewal purchase from playstore is not reflecting in portal login and unable to access contents from there. sent email to support team twice, no reply so far. pathetic support. To summarise, its a useless purchase. need immediate fix. hope there is provision in playstore to report and then request for a refund.

A very bad app, whoever has developed it need to learn first of all what an app is. I purchased today the editions from Jan 2019 for one year subscription and now I can see Feb. 2020 current edition, but not my purchased editions of one year🙄. I tried for three hours to log in, even after restarting my mobile. I have not seen such an incredible app😡!!!.it seems I lost my money. I could cancel the automatic renewal of subscription but could not find a way to refund the money. I would have read the reviews before I made this stupid decision. My mistake. Seriously I, cannot imagine such wealthy Manorama has such a waste app!. Mr. Developer please refund my money. My user id is pinksamaras. And try to learn from mangalam app. I have been using that since one year, no issues, cheaper and good quality reading. Shame.
