About this app

With MerkTier you can clearly document the animal species, the date of observation and the exact observation location (GPS data) in your scientific investigations with just a few clicks. You can supplement this data with a photo of the fire salamander, the direction of migration, the stage of development and the gender.

Documentation process:
1. Select the amphibian species by pressing the corresponding image.
2. A picture of the fire salamander must be taken from above so that the individuals can be identified.
3. Other information such as migration direction, developmental stage, gender and condition
4. Press DONE to confirm.

You have documented your animal so quickly, the app does the rest by itself. The date and time as well as the exact location of the animal are also automatically saved.


Get data:

In the app, click VIEW AND EXTRACT DATA, then EXTRACT DATA FOR WILDBOOK or EXTRACT DATA.
You can then choose the storage location of the CSV file yourself

Pictures:
The images are stored in the gallery in their own directory.
