When this app works, it's great and easy to use, but unexpectedly, it just won't connect with the server, or it won't allow you to add a new payment method or manually add funds to the app. The fact that there's no part of the FAQ or support that addresses how to deal with the issues is also frustrating. Luckily, the old Token Transit app still works, so as soon as I run into problems with MetGo, I just use that.

The app and server have started crashing on a regular basis. When the app is down and I call NFTA, customer service is rude and tells me to come downtown and get a card. I can't do this if the application is down twice a week! The service is almost always experiencing server-wide issues, and I've been told to get off the bus multiple times when the application won't work. Not to mention the fact that the QR reader on the buses only work half of the time. This app is terrible.

Hate this thing. Had so much trouble trying to set it up, and no clear steps to refilling. I figured out the system for reloading. But I lost my phone recently, had to download the app again, and it's refusing to accept my card as payment, though all the info is correct. And now I've remembered I had the same problem last time, and can't remember how I got around it. One word: Sucks.

What’s new

We have added a pop-up notification when users click on the "Register" button. This pop-up serves as a friendly reminder to all Paratransit Access Line (PAL) and Reduced Fare riders to register their photo ID on our fare system’s website before logging in to the mobile app. This feature aims to ensure a smooth and hassle-free registration experience for these riders by directing them to the correct registration procedure.
