Like others have said, the Android app (don't know about Apple) crashes upon startup now, but if you put your phone in airplane mode with bluetooth on, it works fine. I guess the code checks some IP address/website upon startup, and that site has gone dark. My little label maker still works, which is all I care about. I always hoped the developers would add more emoticons/graphics (or give the option to add yourself), but that never happened and probably won't now.

This app just does not work on my new pixel, I gave it every permission, turned on airplane as others suggested, I tried everything it just crashes over and over, I tried it as a guest account, I tried to create a metaprint account. At one point I actually got in for three seconds before it crashed again. It doesn't matter how many variables I change. This app is a cruel, frustrating joke

just a quick heads up for anyone who has downloaded and used this app in the past and can't get it to open up now---following recent updates, the application permissions for device 'location' have to be enabled in order for the app to function properly. Read past updates and notes left on different sites and what made it hard at first was that the app would ask for access to contacts, et al, which are NOT necessary, and never mention anything about 'location', which apparently is. Go Figure
