Metal Detector 2021 app uses your devices magnetic sensor to measure magnetic field values and turns any Android into a real metal detector. This app measures magnetic field with an embedded magnetic sensor. The magnetic field level (EMF) in nature is about 49μT(micro tesla) or 490mG(milli gauss); 1μT = 10mG. When any metal (steel, iron ore) is near, magnetic field level will increase. Data is displayed in µT (micro Testla). 1µT = 10mG (milli Gauss). The magnetic field in nature ranges from 25 to 65 µT (0.25 to 0.65 G). Any higher measurement is an indication of metal in the area.
If the app does not work as it should then the problem is in your magnetic sensor. Maybe your device does not have one. Or try to initialize the sensors by pointing your phone up and rotate it in a figure 8 pattern. Remove magnetic covers from your device for accurate readings. Magnetic covers will influence the magnetic sensor in your Android device. If your device's case contains metal elements remove the case before using the app.

How it works:
Metal Detector free app security scanner is simple to use, just open it and move it around. If the magnetic field values rise there is metal in the area. The magnetic field level will constantly fluctuate. That's it! You can find electrical wires in the walls (like a stud detector) and iron pipes in the ground. Accuracy of the app is entirely dependent on the magnetic sensor in your device and is affected by electrical equipment such as TVs, PCs… due to electromagnetic waves. First of all after running this app if your phone shows high reading then immediately keep it away from every electric devices to set it normal (0μT – 59μT).The normal Electromotive force (EMF) field level is about 49μT (micro Tesla) or 490mG (milli gauss); 1μT = 10mG. When any metal object like steel or iron is near, EMF reading will increase with a beep sound.


Precautions:
• Not all phones are equipped in such a sensor. Please check it in your phone specification. If your device does not have one, the application will not work.
• The accuracy depends entirely on your smart phone magnetic sensor (magnetometer).
• Radio waves like computer, laptop, TV and Radio signals can effect magnetic sensor. So avoid such places and keep away when you run this app.
