Functions

Using your Network access permissions, the My Shaw app will:
• View connection information and see available Wi-Fi connections to enable the app to connect to the Wi-Fi network;
• Detect the network state, read the device status, detect running apps, view app history and identity to implement network preference.

Using your Photo/Media/Files and Storage permissions, the My Shaw app will:
• Enable you to view a PDF of your bill
• Test access to protected storage for the purpose of facilitating user data retrieval and use of content for registered devices to facilitate technical assistance should network access be denied and to increase the application productivity.

Using the Prevent Device from Sleeping permission, the My Shaw app will:
• Enable push notifications used during Support Chats

Using your device’s fingerprint scanner, the My Shaw app will:
• Link your fingerprint profile to your Shaw account via the app for authentication purposes

Using the payment extension request, the My Shaw app will:
• Send you an email confirmation

App is not smooth in Android, IOS has absolutely no problem. For example, when you view a bill on android the share button doesn't do anything, you try to download the bill it doesn't work either, Instead you have print as pdf in order to share, too much work. Everytime it logs you out even when you select remember me, when you try to use your biometric it says can't recognize. Hope to get a solution to this.

One of the worst apps I've had. It's just SO SLOW. Just to sign in. Sometimes it freezes on loading screen and I have to relaunch several times. And I'm not using a VPN or anything like some reviews say. It's just the worst. 2024. Still hasn't changed a bit! IT'S SO SLOW. Takes forever and ever to load account!

This app is insanely slow. The rest of my apps and browsers will have super fast connection but this app will take 5 minutes or sometimes "loading the account information" indefinitely after the log in. Once you are in, the UI to add or change service is terrible.
