This is the perfect manifestation of Zettelkasten. Happy user for two years. I just tried templates today and I can't believe it took me this long to discover them: they are a game-changer for foreign language learning or any deck you want to apply uniform structure too (hint more decks with structured templates is powerful). Cross-linking cards is easy and promotes atomic, evergreen notes. Mochi is as powerful or as simple as you wish it to be, which may be its killer feature.

I use Mochi daily since about three months, either from my smartphone or my laptop. The sync between devices works perfectly fine. Mochi provides a lot of flexibility to create flashcards. For vocabulary I use a custom template together with "reverse" cards. I did not explore the full feature set yet, right now I'm just happy.

TLDR: Looks great, deletes your cards. When I opened Mochi this morning, it asked me to log in. I don't have a Pro account, so I chose "Continue without login". It then showed me the pre-installed decks, but my own decks were all gone! I can't find them in the Android data directory either. It really looks like the app just deleted all my cards.
