An English-Darija dictionary (Moroccan Arabic dialect)

This app serves to help people learn the Moroccan Arabic dialect "Darija" and communicate with Moroccans. It is also a great tool for Moroccans learning English!

The main feature is the 4.800+ entries, which come with Arabic audio recordings. All recordings are by native speakers and are to help you pronounce the words well. The recordings are bundled with the app, no internet connection or additional downloads are required. All entries are written in Arabic script and transliterated with Latin letters ("Arabizi"/"Chat arabic").

In addition, you will find over 380 sentences with audio recordings, that serve to practice your listening comoprehension and help you get a feel how Darija sentences are constructed.

The conjugation table (in-app purchase) contains 230 important verbs completely conjugated in several tenses and 180 have audio recordings. Use it to read and listen to practice verb conjugation, or look up a conjugation anytime.

"Star" your favorite entries and sentences, then they are readily available in the "Favorites" view. The included favorite trainer allows you to practice these words flashcard-style.

Many entries come with explanations, example sentences or conjugation hints. Many nouns show the plural or feminine versions, and most verbs are annotated with their conjugation type (CCC, CC, CVC, CCV)
