About this app

MyAviva is the simple way to view and manage your Aviva insurance, savings and investment policies in one place, whenever and wherever you want. If you’ve already set up an Aviva account online, just enter your username and password in the app to log in. The app also supports facial recognition and fingerprint login, so you can access your account even more quickly and securely.

If you are new to Aviva you can easily register a new account, and if you forget your login details it’s easy to retrieve and reset them to make sure you keep your personal information safe and secure.

Once you’re set up, depending on the products you have in your account you’ll be able to:

- Get all the important details of your Aviva pension
- View insurance cover and renewal dates
- Access policy documents
- Find out how to make a claim
- Check your investment portfolio
- Get access to existing customer offers

Poor experience overall. If you use it to view your policy then that's fine. That said, the My drive feature is useless, constant sending me notifications about tracking journeys when the phone is stationary, charging by the side of the bed at night. It tracks about 10% of the actual journeys, and of those forget about interacting with Android Auto in any way touch/voice are considered distractions, even when stationary. It's 2024, I'm not reinstalling the app. I'm going to uninstall it.

I installed the app for the "my drive" feature, which is meant to track journeys and assess driving style with view to eventually reducing premium cost. But it is pretty useless - only intermittantly recording journeys. For example, I recently drove from Bristol to Brighton and back. A total of over 300 miles. But it recorded only parts of the journey - totalling about 100 miles.

Good luck cancelling your policy on this. I switched off automatic renewal weeks ago as I found a better deal only to wake up today and find automatic renewal had been switched on again and nearly £900 taken from my account. Then had to go through numerous Web pages to find someone to call to cancel the policy despite avivas online help stating you can do this in the app. Good luck finding a button in the app to do so because I don't think it even exists. Cancelled over phone. Ridiculous.
