About this app

MyHeating works with your Warmup Smart WiFi Thermostat to keep your house at the right temperature automatically. It uses the location services already built in to your smartphone to calculate in the background how long it will take you to get home and set the temperature accordingly, so your home is automatically comfortable when you're there and always running efficiently.

It's great for single heating zones such as central heating and works even better with multi-zone systems like underfloor heating.

By using the automatic settings for different room types, MyHeating can keep zones you’re not likely to be using at that time at a comfortable, but more efficient temperature when you’re at home, ensuring bedrooms aren't unnecessarily heated during the day and just up to your comfort temperature when you’re ready for bed.

With Natural Language Programming it's easy to make quick adjustments to your automatic program, or just set a simple timed based heating program.

Ratings and reviews

The app needs a serious redesign as it's not fit for purpose. 1. You can't change your electric price 2. creating schedules is not really customizable. 3. you only get floor temperature and not room temperature. 4. logging in with the app is a nightmare and fails constantly. 5. when you look at the energy page, it shows temperature graphs but not energy graphs which doesn't help. Also can't see all rooms but have to go to each room individually. Also, this whole system is not energy efficient.

This app is very buggy. The app is supposed to track the power usage and cost of the heating system, but when you click the tab it crashes the app. Also, you're supposed to be able to upload a custom picture as the background for your thermostat, but when you try, an error message says "MyHeating needs access to your photo library", but when you hit OK, it doesn't prompt you with changing an app permission, and you can't change it manually in your phone settings either.

Using the $ie stats, the app and the online version are atrocious, particularly if you have multiple thermostats. Each has to be set up manually with an old fashioned, clunky interface that takes hours. Just wish there was an alternatice for use with the warmup system. I don't believe anyone is working on updates or "bug fixes".
