About this app

My Consumption is an invite-only, user-friendly mobile app that lets you share details on your consumption and usage behaviors on products and brands through short surveys.

Use of this app is by invitation only, and credentials are required to login.

Survey panelists receive an invitation to participate in this survey from the National Consumer Panel (NCP) (https://www.ncponline.com). If they decide to participate, NCP will provide instructions on how to download the app and account details. The app does not capture personal information about the panelist. NCP manages and protects all PII data.

Information gathered by the app is analyzed to help better understand people's attitudes, behaviors, and opinions towards all food consumed daily within a week-long period.

I this app is okay but when it comes to scanning the barcodes I'm literally standing around waiting on the app to recognize the barcode. The app needs to be adjusted so that it recognizes the barcode faster or communicates with the user to move closer or further back. Update - App won't work. Emailed both parties concerning issue. There should be a website back up for this problem.

After multiple uninstalls and reinstalls. Then also clearing the cache as instructed by support I was still never able to actually open the application. I always got a error screen immediately when i clicked on it and never got passed it. The support team was not very helpful at all and said since they hadn't heard of anyone else having a problem i was basically out of luck. So i have lost out of a $25 gift card since i won't be able to do the food diary.

Horrible experience. Will not open. Says to restart still continues to crash. Does not have current support. I can't believe that NCP/Nielsen is using this app to gether data. Complete waste of space, time, and effort. When you uninstall you have to make sure the root file and everything connected is wiped from your device. I have never had a program that keeps the cache from one install to another years later on a different phone. This is horrible and I will not give any more stars.
