I'm really enjoying this game! Some things aren't explained great and took a while to figure out/I'm still figuring them out, but this is like a really cool puzzle type game. Plus, the breeding for specific genetics is so cool and interesting; so far, the colors and patterns are extremely varried to the point that I have yet to see duplicates. Time and effort has 100% been put in to ensure variety. If the help/info buttons were just a bit more thorough, this would definitely be 5 stars.

Edit: Recently the app just won't open, it's a shame. I really do like this game its not too bad. I was surprised to see wait times as usually buying apps bypasses that but at least you can speed up growth with food. I would like to see more features like choosing mutated genes as you can on the steam version. Honestly I think if anyone is interested in this they should also give the pc version on steam a shot, it's a lot more fun in my opinion.

I've really enjoyed this game, the breeding aspects are interesting and there's enough gene variations to get my teeth into it. The gathering mini game is simple but forces you to think about what you're breeding. I've managed to level up the gathering fields pass my Nichelings ability by playing the mini game. The difficult was increasing as the fields leveled up added enjoyment. I'm definitely going to look into the original game. The random gene boost is always positive, no inbreeding effects
