Ratings and reviews

I love the grill, and the app does add value. But the app also seems like an afterthought and has some quirks and shortcomings. First, it doesn't remember my credentials, so I have to sign in every time I use it. Really? Second, if you accidentally set your cook mode and temperature on time mode and then switch to temperature mode to use the probes, all of the cook settings reset to a default. This can also happen when using charts, which always default to time mode. No custom charts, either.

It's frustrating. I really like my ninja outdoor grill smoker xl deluxe blah blah but the app lets it down. Making you watch a 5 second video at startup is terrible user experience. I didn't buy your grill to watch a video of smoke... At least limit this to the first launch! And it seems like every time I open the app, it makes me log in again. Even when I'm in the middle of cooking. This will ruin your food! Notifications rarely work, so you have to keep the app open or you will end up burning.

The grill is great, the app works pretty bad. It doesn't crash but it fails to change the settings in the grill 80%-90% of the time. That means I have to try to make a change (temperature, modes, etc) 5 to 10 time before the grill take she change. When changing between temperature and time cooking modes is even worse. If that is fixed then it would be a great app
