About this app

NoAMP lets you bypass Google's AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) and open the original, full-featured version of web pages for a standard browsing experience.

AMP is a web component framework by Google that modifies web content for mobile devices. While it can make pages load faster, it sometimes reduces usability or removes features. NoAMP helps you view the non-AMP version of a webpage in most cases.

How it works:
* When viewing an AMP web page in your browser, tap the Share button.
* Select NoAMP from the share menu.
* NoAMP converts the AMP link to its original, non-AMP version and opens it in your default browser.
* A notification shows the converted URL.

Features:
* Bypass AMP and open the original version of a web page
* Easy to use: just share any AMP link to NoAMP
* Works with most AMP links, especially those converted by Google from non-AMP hosts (for example, mobile.nytimes.com, www.foxnews.com)
* No data collection: NoAMP does not collect or share any user data
* Open source: View on GitHub: https://github.com/JNavas2/NoAMP

Limitations:
* Only works with AMP pages that have a non-AMP equivalent
* Hosted AMP pages (such as amp.example.com) are not supported
* Requires a web browser installed on your device
* Supports Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher

Questions, Suggestions or Problems:
* Open an Issue on GitHub: https://github.com/JNavas2/NoAMP/issues

Disclaimers:
* Use at your own risk
* NoAMP is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or the AMP project

Excellent, works as advertised. If you don't understand how this works or what it's limitations are, read. The dev has put instructions in the description and the app itself, and replies to every review. Very well done, dev. Sorry you've got idiots on your page :P

It works! I mean, you need to "share" the link to open it in chrome, but I'm just overjoyed to bypass Google's awful AMP system....

You do not navigate to the app. It's much easier than that: Share the current web page (using the 3 vertical dot menu) to the app, and it reopens that web page in a new browser tab, fast and easy. If you need help, Contact us.
