You can create a new note/check list by tapping + in the bottom right corner of the main screen.

🔒Protect your notes and check list.
1. Click on the Note or check list you want to protect, then click on the lock icon in the upper right corner of the screen or click on more option and select the lock icon.
Then create your password and answer the security question.
2. Lock the notes and check lists you want to protect by touching the lock icon.

Ratings and reviews

Does what it needs to, but lately I've been getting a lot more ads. Like I just got 3 ads in about as many minutes. If this continues, I'll just find a different app to use because it's really annoying getting my thoughts interrupted repeatedly. I actually just exited out of this review, went back to the app, and couldn't even see what I was typing before an ad played. It's legit making it difficult to use the app.

Very good notepad. I use it for a whole variety of tasks. My only complaint-? I wish the text wouldn't shift around so much when you try to add new notes to previously entered notes. It makes it hard to edit,and add onto previous notes (some of us aren't just compiling shopping lists). Other than that, I'd give it 4.5 Stars.

I'm not sure about this app anymore. It was ok, but vs. the other apps that I use, this app gets very annoying. It continues to bump me back up to the top of the page, literally like every second of using it. It makes you lose your place so easily, where it's crazy if you're writing a lot at once or typing out a super long story. etc..
