How can I cancel my Germany ticket?
You can cancel your Deutschland Ticket monthly. Termination must be made by the 10th of the month to the end of the respective calendar month.
In what form will I receive my Germany Ticket?
You can get your Germany ticket in this app. Alternatively, you can also receive your Germany ticket using a chip card.
Which means of transport can I use with the Deutschlandticket?
With the Deutschlandticket you can use all local and regional transport in Germany. You can travel on all buses, subways, S-Bahn, trams and RE/RB trains.
How does payment for the Germany ticket work?
The amount is due in the month of use. The direct debit takes place 5 days after the ticket becomes valid.
How does the app work?
- If you have a D-Ticket with OVB, you will be sent an email to set up your access account
- After you have set up your account, you can log in to the app and your Germany ticket will be displayed in the app
What if I forgot my password?
- Open the app and go to “Log in”
- Press “Forgot Password” and enter your email address in the window
- You will then be sent an email to reset your password
I no longer know my email address
No problem, write us an email to deutschlandticket@ovbgmbh.de and ideally give us your contract and customer number. We will be happy to help you.
Does the app also work offline?
Yes, once you have logged in, the ticket remains saved within the app until the end of each month. At the turn of the month, the app must be opened at least once while your smartphone is online so that the Germany ticket for the new month can be downloaded.
Can I still get the Deutschlandticket as a paper ticket (PDF)?
No, the paper tickets were only a temporary solution and we cannot guarantee that a paper ticket will continue to be accepted throughout Germany in the future. Please use the app.
